Webinar: The Abidjan Principles on the Right to Education in the Context of COVID-19

 

The International Commission of Jurists - Africa (ICJ), Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (GI-ESCR) and Right to Education Initiative (RTE) are hosting a two-part webinar series on the Abidjan Principles on the Right to Education in the context of COVD-19, scheduled for 24 July and 31 July 2020 at 1pm CAT.

The first webinar (on Friday 24 July) will focus on public education (provided directly by the government) during the COVID-19 crisis and the second (on Friday 31 July) will focus on private actors in education during COVID-19. The webinars will be attended by judges and civil society organisations from Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Sierra Leone.
