We are Now Members of CAN International!

We are Now Members of CAN International!

We are excited to announce that on 4 August 2025, we were accepted as a new member of CAN International (Climate Action Network International).

Established in the 1980s, CAN International is the world's largest network of civil society organisations working together to drive collective and sustainable action to fight the climate crisis and to achieve social justice.

With over 1,900 member organisations in more than 130 countries, CAN coordinates collective NGO strategy on international climate issues and works to advance the demands of the climate movement worldwide.

CAN International focuses on ensuring ambitious climate policies are adopted and implemented, promoting climate justice, and supporting the transition to sustainable energy systems. The network plays a crucial role in international climate negotiations and advocates for policies that protect the most vulnerable communities from climate impacts.

By joining CAN International, we will enter a global network that will grant us access to resources, expertise, and collaborative opportunities to strengthen our climate action work. We will be able to share our efforts with partners working on climate justice and contribute to coordinated advocacy campaigns within international spaces.

Our admission into CAN marks a new chapter in our efforts to promote climate justice and advance a gender-just transition towards sustainable societies.
