We are the Newest Member of the Gender and Environment Data Alliance!

We are excited to announce that we were accepted as the newest member of the Gender and Environment Data Alliance (GEDA)

Co-convened by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the Women’s Environment and Development Organisation (WEDO), GEDA is an alliance dedicated to improving the availability, accessibility, understanding, and the application of quality and robust data and information on the gender and environment nexus.

GEDA aims to compile and amplify the reach of existing gender data and research. The alliance also seeks to identify gaps in such research and data to support gender-just and evidence-based environment and climate action that meets the needs of all people in all their diversity.

By joining GEDA, an alliance of 90 organisations worldwide, we will enter a hub that will grant us access to material to strengthen our work and share our efforts with partners working on the intersection of gender and the environment.

Our incorporation into the alliance marks a new chapter in our efforts to promote economic, social, and cultural rights and advance a gender-just transition towards sustainable societies.
