In partnership with the University of Chile, we hosted an arts competition at Central House, culminating in an award ceremony on 10 December 2024. This collaboration highlighted the power of art to inspire action on issues like equitable public services, gender equality and environmental sustainability, while showcasing the talent of participating students and fostering dialogue among communities, academics and advocates.
Image

Goal

Harness the power of artistic expression as a new language to critically examine and reimagine the role of public services in promoting human rights, gender equality and environmental sustainability.
Image

Methodology

Rooted in participatory and interdisciplinary approaches, we fostered collaboration among university community members and invited participants to critically assess their perception of public services and human rights through artistic mediums, encouraging both reflection of the state of things and actions towards social transformation.
Image

Impact

The competition captured the interest of eight student teams from various university faculties and drew over 100 attendees to its award ceremony, including notable figures like Fernando Atria and Claudio Nash. This ceremony was co-organised in partnership with the 2024 edition of 'Revista Anales'.
